The search is on for a 41-year-old man, who violated his ex-girlfriend, with the use of hot pepper, after she refused to take him back.
Reports are a bit sketchy but we understand that the woman agreed to meet the suspect around 5.30 p.m. on Wednesday, to celebrate his birthday.
However, during the evening, he attempted to reignite the flames of their relationship and she declined.
It was at this time, that the suspect, who hails from Berridge Trace, South Oropouche, grabbed a hot pepper and assaulted her with it.
The suspect dropped the victim at her home and drove off.
The woman sought medical treatment at the Point Fortin hospital after the attack, while the suspect has been missing in action since.
