Principle, practices and procedures, are being put forward as guidelines which should be used in addressing recent issues which have arisen in the operations of the Police Service Commission.
The suggestion comes from former PSC member and Attorney at law, Martin George.
Mr George made the proposal while speaking on the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102 Digital Wednesday.
Mr George said public confidence in the institution is low and all should be done to ensure it functions effectively and its integrity protected.
Mr George said it’s not just a matter of finding new members to replace the three PSC officials who have resigned recently.
He said it has more to do with correcting challenges which have developed and making sure mistakes made are not repeated.
Mr George made it clear he is not about focusing on any individual but ensuring principle is the key element to determine the next course of action.
