While hundreds of people in dire need have been lining up from as early as 4:00am outside Living waters in Port of Spain, Living Waters founder Rhonda Maingot said this has been happening for several weeks as the country grapples with the economic effects of coronavirus especially on the most vulnerable in the country. Ms. Maingot said that the organization has been handing out small packages of dry goods on some days and even hot meals on other days. She expressed her gratitude to corporate Trinidad & Tobago for the donations which have been helping Living waters to do their works.
She also said more needs to be done in parishes across the country as people are in need and many cannot feed themselves or their families during this crisis. She said more must be done to help the poor.
