Liverpool Seize Control OPver RB Leipzig in Budapest

The Liverpool beat RB Leipzig 0-2 on Tuesday, with goals from their wingers, Africans Mo Salah and Sadio Mané, thus setting foot in the quarter-finals as the German team would need a 0-3 to achieve the comeback at Anfield Road. The game was defined in five minutes, between 53 and 58, when the two Liverpool goals came.

The leather had to be played at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary due to German government restrictions that prohibit flights from the UK.

First from a blunder by Marcel Sabitzer who, when trying to make a pass backwards, put the ball in the race of Salah who came to the area and was able to define at pleasure.

The second goal came on a counterattack in which Mukiele failed to intercept a long ball in the center line and Mané had a free way to the goal.

Until Salah’s goal the game had been relatively even, although with a slight superiority from Liverpool, with arrivals for both teams. Then came the two goals from Liverpool with which the game was liquidated and perhaps also the tie.

The return leg will be played on March 10 at Anfield Road, Liverpool.
