Legitimate Southern Taxi Drivers agree to wear uniforms to be easily identified

Some taxi drivers in South Trinidad are doing their part to combat violence against women.
The men have come together to purchase printed coloured shirts as a uniform, to easily identify themselves as legitimate taxi drivers.

They say it’s a small move, but one they hope will bring comfort and a sense of safety to their passengers.

However they maintain that the onus is still on passengers to be observant when travelling.
