Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Ayanna Webster-Roy, says the law has widened the range of individuals who can apply for restraining orders from domestic violence perpetrators.
Minister Webster Roy made the revelation while contributing to the Budget Debate in the House of Representatives this afternoon.
She called on society to do its part to address the issue.
