Law Association contemplating Legal action against PM Rowley

The Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago (LATT) will hold a meeting next Friday, September 27, at the Auditorium of the Government Plaza in Port of Spain to consider their next course of action if any, against Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley. The meeting will be simulcast on the rooftop floor at Dipnarine Rampersad and Company, along Gordon Street, San Fernando, where other members will be gathering for the meeting.

LATT is considering filing judicial review proceedings against Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley for his decision to ignore its investigative report into allegations of misconduct against Chief Justice Ivor Archie.

Meantime the Chief Justice will host the Ceremonial opening of the new Law term tomorrow Monday 16th September which includes the traditional Church service , procession and gathering of Law fraternity at Convocation Hall in the Hall of Justice. It remains to be seen and heard if the CJ will address any of the recent controversies in the Judiciary.
