A woman died during a domestic dispute at her home on Wednesday morning.
Angelina Samuel, 36, was at her Laventille home with a 34-year-old man when she got into an altercation with another man. Neighbours said they heard a loud commotion as if a fight was taking place. When they went to investigate they found the man and woman, who were in the house, lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds about their bodies.
Both were taken to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital but the woman died while receiving treatment. The man was taken to the hospital where he is currently warded in a serious condition.
Police are continuing investigations.
