Labourer Charged With Arima Man Murder

A 26-year-old labourer is expected to appear before the Arima Magistrates’ Court today charged in connection with the January 18th death of Stephen Castillo.

RONDELL CUST aka ‘TALLO,’ of Moonlight Avenue, Wallerfield Arima, was charged by PC Ali of the Homicide Bureau Region Region II Office on February 23rd with murder, possession of firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of firearm to endanger life and possession of ammunition to endanger life following the advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard, SC, on the same day.

CUST was arrested by officers of the Northern Division Task Force on February 17th at his home.

According to police reports, on the night of January 18th this year, 29-year-old Stephen Castillo was shot and killed at Peters Avenue, Demarara Road, Arima.
