Kodak Black has laid down the gauntlet and challenged one of the greatest rappers of all time to a Verzuz battle.
The rapper took to Twitter this week to volunteer for a high stakes face-off against Jay-Z.
“I’ll do a [Verzuz] wit Jay Z,” he tweeted with a smiling devil emoji. “‘IF’ he win he get 15 % of my catalog ! I win he make me Vice President of roc nation.”
While Hov has yet to publicly respond to the challenge, he has already made it clear last year that he considers himself untouchable in any potential matchup of the popular artiste battle series.
However, the challenge will have to wait as Kodak Black, instead of preparing for the challenge, kicked off his new year by getting arrested in the early hours of January 1st for trespassing in his South Florida hometown of Pompano Beach.
He’s also dealing with the fallout of pleading guilty to assaulting a teenage girl in April last year.
According to The Associated Press, he was originally facing a rape charge, but accepted a plea deal on a lesser charge for violating probation.
