US Gospel music legend Kirk Franklin’s eldest son has recently been making some sensitive allegations against his father.
Kerrion Franklin posted on social media, claims that his father allegedly “abused” him.
Kerrion Franklin, 32, has been estranged from his father for many years but now states that Kirk was allegedly trying to kill him. Kerrion called his father “sneaky” while declaring, “my own father is trying to kill me.”
On Wednesday, Kerrion stated that he grew up in what sounds like an abusive environment, reposting a message that reads: “I’m not allowed to have any childhood pictures of myself or my family. Some of the shit ii see yaw complain about us so surface. I’ve been through the fire.”
And in the caption, Kerrion wrote: “I know the damage you’ve been through even if ii dunno what you been through.”
When a fan asked if his dad has anything to do with the post, he responded saying Kirk is the source. Additionally, two years ago, he appeared on Instagram and started making some bizarre claims toward the Grammy-winning songwriter also.
Statements circulating online have shared that Kerrion may have mental health issues and the allegations are untrue, but some also say that it wouldn’t be the first time that a gospel singer or popular Christian figure has an entirely different life behind closed doors from the one they present publicly.
