A 20-year-old man who was kidnapped at gunpoint was able to free himself in Blanchisseuse on Monday afternoon.
According to ADD News TT the man was walking on the Arima Old Road at around 1.30 pm when a white Toyota Corolla droved onto his path blocking him.
Three men got out of the car and threatened to kill him before putting a cloth over his face.
The kidnappers pushed the man into another car which was waiting nearby and drove him off at around 5 pm to another locaiton.
The man was able to free himself.
He then recognized he was on the Blanchisseuse Road and made a report to the police station.
Officers of the Arima CID are continuing enquiries.
