Kherson Residents Facing Shortage of Medicine A Fortnight After Russian Occupation

The BBC is reporting residents of Kherson are facing acute shortages of medicine more than a fortnight after falling under Russian occupation.

The residents are holding daily protests against the Kremlin’s forces.

They are also worried increased shelling on the outskirts might signal the start of a Ukrainian push to recapture their southern city, which is a key port.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Prosecutor General says Russian forces have killed 10 people standing in line for bread in the northern city of Chernihiv.

Local reporters tell the BBC it is likely the victims were fired upon by Russian artillery positioned outside the city

Kyiv officials say Russian forces shelled an apartment block on Wednesday morning.

The Deputy Mayor says Russian troops are still holding 400 people, including doctors and patients, “like hostages” inside a hospital in Mariupol.
