PUMA’s wicked resurrection of the iconic Rider franchise has been undoubtedly one of the best sneaker stories of 2019 and as the year ends, the brand is dropping fresh colourways for the Future Rider and Style Rider.
The PUMA Style Rider features a similar build and design as the Future Rider, stemming from the inspirations drawn from the Fast Rider. The unit features a lightweight deconstructed upper, with a textile finish and suede overlays. The Style Rider has a vibrant colour blocking in the form of Dazzling Blue, High Rise and PUMA White.
‘Fadda’ the Fast Rider was one of the most iconic and ‘wettest’ running shoes of the 80s and have been blessed with a future-meets-retro upgrade for 21st-century street culture. The new iterations are still at the forefront of performance and innovation with the Future Rider featuring a subtle corrugated outsole and TPU heel stabilizer for more steadiness. Meanwhile, the Style Rider showcases new materials with breathable mesh and overlays in suede, a bulky midsole plus the new shock-absorbing RIDERFOAM for high rebound and the subtle corrugated outsole for a reduced look.
