Reaction continues to pour in to the 2021/2022 national budget.
Opposition leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar was the first to offer her comments yesterday as she laid into Finance Minister Colm Imbert and Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley, describing the budget as a ‘biscuit and cheese’ budget that was short on substance.
The Opposition Leader accused the Government of wrongfully blaming COVID for the current economic crisis while offering no real solutions to the issues plaguing the country.
