Kambule to replace Canboulay Riots re-enactment

The National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago announced the re-enactment of the Canboulay Riots of 1881, which forms part of the NCC’s annual Carnival offerings, will not be put on this year by the Commission.

Instead of this production, which was originally scheduled for Friday February 25 at 5 am, there will be two stagings of the epic re-enactment at the National Academy for the Performing Arts, carded for two days, Friday, February 25 at 5.00 a.m. and 8.00 pm, and Sunday February 27 at 11.30 p.m.

The event will be hosted by Mrs. Pearl Eintou Springer and the Idakeda Group
