A man was killed in a police involved shooting in Barataria this morning.
The incident took place along Upper 6th Avenue, Malick.
The deceased has been identified only as “Jerry”.
Investigations are underway.

The deceased has now been identified as Jerry Ruben, of Upper Sixth Avenue, Malick, Barataria.
The incident was said to have occurred around 7am, after officers reportedly went in search of the deceased
