Michelle Lee Ahye finished 6th in the semi-final of the Women’s 100 m at the World Athletics Championships last night as she failed to make it into the finals.
She finished 6th in her semifinal in a time of 11.24 seconds, behind the eventual 100m winner, Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce.
Jamaica took all the podium spots in the final of that race as Fraser Pryce set a course record with a speedy 10.63s finish.
Meanwhile, on the men’s side, Jereem Richards is set to hit the track at 8:12 tonight (T&T time) in Heat 2 of the 200m race.
Richards along with T&T teammate, Eric Harrison are vying for a place in the semi-finals.
