Jason Derulo is set to become a dad after announcing that he’s expecting his first child with girlfriend Jena Frumes.
The Ridin’ Solo singer shared the news of Jena’s pregnancy with a sweet video announcement filmed during their holiday in the Bahamas.
‘Couldn’t be more excited for this new chapter in our life,’ Jason captioned the post while Jena shared a photo of them together, calling each other ‘mom and dad’.
Jason, 31, and Jena, 27, are seen frolicking on the beach in the video, filmed on the SLS Baha Mar resort, which ends with the pop star sweetly kissing her baby bump. They’re keeping Jena’s due date close to their hearts as they simply said baby Derulo is ‘coming soon’.
The couple have been dating for over a year and went public with their relationship last March when they were spotted on a dinner date together.
Almost immediately they became TikTok superstars with their creative – and daring – workout videos attracting big audiences.
Based on their shared love of fitness, it should come as no surprise that the lovebirds locked eyes with each other at Equinox.
Jason told Page Six in August: ‘We both have a similar desire to work out all the time, and I had seen her once there before, and then the second time, I was like, “Aight. Imma go talk to her”, and the rest is history.’
Things appeared to be getting serious between the two when Jena recently shared a photo of her and Jason with his two nieces, proving she was firmly part of the family.
