Jamaica Scorpions Claim Four Wicket Victory Against Leeward Islands At Coolidge

Jamaica Scorpions won by four wickets on the Duckworth Lewis System in their Super50 match against the Leeward Islands Friday at Coolidge Cricket Ground.

The game was reduced to 40 overs.

Scorpions went in search of a revised total of 179 runs instead of the original target of 208.

They closed on 182 for 6 from 36.2 overs.

Opener Brandon King top scored with 87 runs.

Batting first Jahwar Hamilton made 54 runs to help guide Leewards to 207 off 48.5 overs.

On Saturday, Trinidad and Tobago Red Force will play against Windward Islands at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy at Tarouba.
