Izzso media: “Food Groups” Learn to make ‘Focaccia’ Tasty Italian flat bread with delicious Parmesan cheese and veggies

Izzso media: “Food Groups” cooking and baking show (Episode two)…with Host Wendy Foncette and Chef Selwyn Wickham of Central Culinary school. In this episode learn how to make a mouth watering Italian favourite Focaccia. This will be sure to impress your family and friends. This recipe feeds 12 to 15 people so its great for a home lime or family dinner , and can be ready in as little as 35 minutes. Enjoy!!!

FOCACCIA
Dough ingredients
1 3/4 cups water
4 tsp yeast
5 cups flour
4 tbsp olive oil

PROCEDURE;
Develop the dough for ten minutes at medium speed or knead until smooth and elastic

Allow the rest until double in size. Then punch down .
Place in a tray greases with olive oil…. press and stretch the dough to fit snugly into the tray.
Place to proof. When double in size use fingers to press holes at least half inch spare into the dough .
Fill those with olive oil then smother with the following ingredients.

Veggie ingredients

1/2 cup. each of chopped red peppers… green peppers… tomatoes…. red onions
4 oz freshly grated parmesan cheese
10 minced basil leaves.

Place in a 375 F oven and bake for twenty minutes or until golden…and ENJOY…
