Items removed from Marlene’s home

Items were taken away from MP Marlene McDonald’s home during the search this morning. Mc Donald lived off the Maracas Royal Road in St Joseph.

Officers from the Anti-Corruption Investigation Bureau searched the home of McDonald around 4.a.m this morning after the DPP issued a warrant for her arrest. She and her husband were detained. McDonald was arrested in connection with allegations of misappropriation of funds.

Officers eventually vacated the premised before noon today with the items.
