The former Attorney general acted ultra-vires to the constitution.
This is the belief of experienced attorney at law, Senior Counsel Israel Khan.
Mr Khan spoke with News Power Now in his personal capacity rather than as President of the Criminal Bar Association.
He claimed that Mr Al Rawi made several mis-steps in his actions.
He added that Mr Al Rawi, either through political ambition, incompetence or ineptitude, misled the Prime Minister and the Cabinet.
Mr Khan claimed that Mr Alraw’s mis-steps have led to T&T becoming the laughing stock of the Commonwealth.
He contended that Mr Al-Rawi should be fired from cabinet after overstepping his role and misleading the cabinet.
