Prime Minister, Phillip J Pierre, says St Lucia is mobilising regional and international assistance following Sunday’s heavy rainfall which caused devastating flooding in the North of the Island.
Responders are working around the clock to conduct a damage assessment, clear roads, and drains, and provide relief to affected individuals adding disclosed teams were assessing the impact on agriculture.
Mr Pierre made the disclosure while speaking at a news briefing on Monday.
