Inspector Assigned To Probe Circumstances Surrounding Salvager’s Death At Forres Park Landfill

An Inspector has been assigned to determine the facts surrounding the death of salvager, David Charles, at the Forres Park landfill.

On June 24th, Mr. Charles was reportedly carrying out unauthorized work behind a tractor operated by contractor, Norris Enterprises.

The contractor came into contact with Mr Charles at which point he sustained injuries to the pelvis and chest.

Mr Charles succumbed to his injuries on June 27th.

Acting Leader of Government Business in the Senate, Paula Gopee Scoon, revealed how the incident was handled in terms of the investigative process.
