Indonesian President, Joko Widodo, says his country would like the war between Russia and Ukraine to end soon.
President Widodo met Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky, and Russia’s President, Vladimir Putin, on consecutive days.
Speaking at a news briefing with President Putin in Moscow following their meeting, President Widodo said: “Although the external situation is still difficult, it is still important to move towards a settlement and open dialogue.
President Putin said the talks had been productive.
However, the Russian leader took the opportunity to blame the West for any potential global food crisis.
