Inclusiveness is cited as one of the factors which Legal Officer for the United National Congress, Brian Baig, believes contributed to the Star Team led by Siparia Member of Parliament, Kamla Persad Bissessar, winning the recent UNC internal elections.
It’s a point Mr Baig made during an interview on the Power 102 Digital Afternoon Power Drive on Wednesday.
Mr Baig highlighted different steps which the national executive adopted which gave the membership greater input to speak out on a range of issues.
Mr Baig said the Political Leader of the UNC is willing to include persons who contested positions against her.
