Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert, says there is need to review the 2019 and 2020 National Insurance Board report before it is tabled in
Parliament.
Minister Imbert says this exercise will take one month. The Opposition United National Congress has expressed concerns over the delay in the presentation of the report in parliament.
However, Minister Imbert said there are matters in the report which indicate a shift in government policy and this must be addressed before the report is brought to parliament.
Responding to a supplementation question from Opposition Senator, Wade Mark, Minister Imbert gave details on the areas of concern the government has with the NIB report.
