Imbert: “Government has no plans to go to the IMF”

The government has no plans to go the International Monetary Fund.; Finance Minister, Colm Imbert, tells the Senate the ruling
administration will do its own restructuring without input from the IMF.

Minister Imbert said during The Senate debate on Friday June 11, he heard suggestions from some local economists and commentators urging the government to go the way of the IMF.

However, Minister Imbert said this is not on the agenda at this time.
