A man driving a vehicle illegally on the priority bus route hit two children on Wednesday at 3:45 has been charged with an offence.
Police charged the driver, Al Sandiford of D’Abadie with driving illegally on the bus route.
Two children including an eight-year-old boy and his nine-year-old sister—suffered broken bones including a broken arm and leg and bruises in the accident. They were immediately taken by ambulance to hospital and said to be recovering well.
The accident occurred as the children had just exited a maxi-taxi and were attempting to cross the PBR when they were struck by a Toyota Corolla driven by the man.
