Ian Allyene is offering a $400,000 reward for info on Andrea

Crime Watch host Ian Alleyne has upped the reward for information on missing court clerk Andrea Bharatt, by offering a whopping $400,000. This now takes the overall reward tally to $500,000.

During his show last evening, Alleyne said “Today I had a conversation with a prominent businessman I decided today that I want to give a reward to people who know where Andrea is, who know who drive the car, who know somebody. I don’t need to meet you, call me. Let me know what’s going on. You maybe you over heard something.”

Alleyne said he is willing to drop off the cash in exchange for the information.

The pledge by the hosts follows rewards offered by private individuals.

Crime Stoppers has offered a $50,000 reward while Mode Alive’s Gary Aboud has pledged $25,000 and the Full Trottle Hunting Club has also offered a reward of $25,000.

On Wednesday night, a large crowd gathered at the Arima Bus Terminal for a candlelight vigil to pray for the safe return of Bharatt, among them was Candice Riley, the mother of murdered 18-year-old Ashanti Riley.
