Hunter’s Association Urges Public To Obey Laws During Closed Hunting Season

The East Trinidad Hunters Association is encouraging persons to obey the law during the closed hunting season.

It says this can result in several benefits for the environment and allow animals to get to reproduce during the period February 28th to September 30th this year.

President of the Association, Gary Watche, said it is pleased with the prevalence of the more game wardens in the system which will help with patrols, monitoring and enforcement of the laws to crack down on illegal hunting.

Speaking with News Power Now on Wednesday, Mr Watche said it’s vital the animals were given the chance to develop properly during the closed season.
