No member of the current cabinet has been formally and lawfully leased or sold land belonging to the Housing Development Corporation.
This position was reached following a search by the HDC of its internal records.
This response was given by Minister Housing and Urban Develop, Camille Robinson Regis during Friday’s sitting.
The question on the subject was posed by the Member of Parliament for Couva South, Rudy Indarsingh.
The Opposition wanted to know, from the Housing Minister, whether three parcels of land belonging to the HDC located at Southern Main Road, Couva and one at Ibis Avenue, Couva have been leased or sold to any member of the current Cabinet.
