Housing Minister Penelope Beckles-Robinson has addressed calls by some for gender equality in the composition of the Cabinet.
She noted that an equal number of men and women in the Cabinet does not translate to tangible change in the discussion surrounding gender equality and sensitivity.
Speaking on the Power Breakfast Show this morning, Minister Beckles-Robinson said she will advocate for an increase in the participation of women in politics but said the issue of gender sensitivity must be addressed.
