This was the plea of soca artist Akeem “Preedy” Chance as he spoke on the life and work of Dexter “Blaxx” Stewart during the public funeral service, held at the Queens Park Savannah on Wednesday.

Preedy reflected on what was the final time being on stage with Blaxx during this year’s “Taste of Carnival” celebrations.

Similarly, Grenadian artist Jevaughn “V’ghn” John shared his gratitude for the role that Blaxx play in his development and breaking into the industry.
