Hit and run accident claims life of 35 year old man

A hit-and-run ac­ci­dent in the early hours of Saturday morn­ing has claimed the life of Dillon Norirga. The incident occurred at around 4:30am in St Au­gus­tine.

The body Nor­ie­ga, 35, of Sangre Grande was discovered ly­ing on the ground in the vicin­i­ty of the stair­case lead­ing up to Pri­or­i­ty Bus Route op­po­site Lak­sh­mi Girls’ Hin­du Col­lege, East­ern Main Road, St Au­gus­tine.

Police officers re­spond­ed to the re­port and con­firmed the dis­cov­ery. There were no eyewitnesses however there is a CCTV camera in the area. In­ves­ti­ga­tions are con­tin­u­ing in­to the in­ci­dent.
