A 42-year-old Penal woman has accused a Hindu pundit of sexual assault.
Police are now investigating the claims by the woman, who said she went to the holy man on Tuesday evening for special prayers, and upon completion of said prayers, he allegedly grabbed her around the waist.
The woman said the man then pulled her toward him and began touching her breasts.
She told police she pulled away, but he grabbed her back and began touching her private parts.
The woman said she threw the cash she had for him on a table and fled to her car, making her way to the Barataria police station.
