Heritage warns of recruitment scam

Heritage Petroleum is warning the public of a recruitment scam by individuals and organizations pretending to be from Heritage Petroleum.

In a media release, the company says the offenders are using names and contact information of actual employees to solicit large sums of money from unsuspecting job seekers.

Heritage says payments of any kind are not part of its recruitment process and no one is authorized to accept or request funds in return for employment at the company.

The company has referred the matter to the Fraud Squad.
