Health workers arrive at Facility to get Covid19 vaccines

Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh insists there is nothing to fear, as frontline workers have arrived at the Couva Multi Training Facility to receive the first batch of COVID-19 vaccines.

The North Central Regional Health Authority said it will administer the COVID-19 vaccines to frontline staff employed at its COVID facilities: Arima Hospital, Caura Hospital, Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Couva Hospital Facility, as well as its step down facilities throughout the region.

Speaking during today’s Health Ministry briefing, Mr Deyalsingh said over 150 million doses of the vaccines have already been administered worldwide, so Trinbagonians have absolutely nothing to fear.
He added that members of the Government and other essential workers will be vaccinated at a later date.
