The Ministry of Health is advising that following the recent passage of the weather system, the status of the non-essential health services provided by each Regional Health Authority is as follows:
North West Regional Health Authority all health centres, hospital clinics and mass vaccination sites will re-open on Thursday, June 30th.
North Central Regional Health Authority – all heath centres have resumed operations.
All hospital clinics and mass vaccination sites will re-open on Thursday 30th June.
Eastern Regional Health Authority all health centres, hospital clinics and mass vaccination sites have resumed operations.
South West Regional Health Authority all health centres, hospital clinics and mass vaccination sites have resumed operations, except the Rochard Douglas Health Centre, which will resume operations once the flooding on access roads has subsided.
The public is reminded to avoid contact with flood waters to reduce the risk of contracting water-borne diseases such as gastroenteritis and leptospirosis.
