As the Ministry of Health focuses on providing care for severely ill covid19 patients in the parallel health care system, Minister Terrence Deyalsingh is assuring that officials are actively working towards obtaining the necessary resources to meet ever increasing needs.
Questioned in the Parliament, on Friday, by the Member of Parliament for Caroni East on whether the Ministry will be procuring additional mobile oxygen tanks for the management of critically ill covid19 patients, Minister Deyalsingh revealed that this has already been initiated, by way of the Emergency Operations Centre.
The Minister further stated that in addition to this, capacity to deliver oxygen to patients is being ramped up.
