Trinidad and Tobago will be guided by the World Health Organization on the subject of vaccine mixing.
This course of action was indicated Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh, while addressing Wednesday’s Virtual Covid-19 news briefing.
The European Commission said some countries such as France and Germany have recommended a mixed-dose approach where a first prime shot is followed by a booster of a second type.
Minister Deyalsingh said this country will rely on data, procedures and experience from the WHO in this area.
Minister Deyalsingh also said it is critical family members look out for each other when it comes from taking care of their health.
