Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh clashed repeatedly with the Opposition this morning as the Standing Finance Review Committee discussed the Ministry of Health’s 2021/2022 national budget allocation.
This as the issue of vacancies within the Regional health Authorities came to the fore.
The budget allocated 23 million dollars to be utilized to fill more than 200 vacant posts within the various RHAs.
However Minister Deyalsingh was chastised and belittled by Couva South, Rudranath Indarsingh over the issue after he was left unsatisfied with the Minister’s answer.
