HDC Seeks Board Approval Before It Can Proceed With Salary Increases

The Human Resource Committee of the Housing Development Corporation held a meeting this week to discuss ongoing negotiations for an increase in wages for the 2011 to 2012 period.

However, the HDC says it still requires approval beyond the level of the Board before it can proceed with salary increases and other increments.

The Corporation must also ensure that it operates within the confines of the Chief Personnel Officer’s parameters, to ensure the approval for proposed payment or buyout.
