The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) has issued a Hazardous Seas Warning #3 – Yellow Level.
Strong winds are lingering in the area and continue to agitate sea conditions, with waves heights between 2.5 and 3.5 m in open waters.
A general decrease in wind speeds is likely over the weekend, but sea conditions will remain somewhat agitated.
The TTMS advises that sea goers monitor sea conditions and exercise caution in coastal and offshore waters. Be alert for large waves and dangerous currents and follow the instructions of lifeguards. Monitor official updates from the TTMS.
