Hazardous seas alert discontinued- Green Level

The hazardous seas warning has been discontinued as the country is currently under a Green Level alert.

In an update by the Met Office, long period swells are no longer having any adverse impacts on our near-shore areas. Based on official reports, the sea state is now moderate, with wave heights of 1.5m to 2.0m in open waters and below 1.0m in sheltered areas.

Sea bathers are still advised to remain cautious when entering the sea. This is the final public warning message for this hazardous seas event. Continue to monitor updates from official sites.
