A yellow level hazardous seas alert is currently in place for Trinidad and Tobago.
The MET Service says north-easterly high energy swells are expected to impact near-shore areas along coastlines of Tobago and Northern coastlines of Trinidad.
These swells can result in higher surfs and occasional battering waves.
All marine Interests are advised to carefully monitor coastal sea conditions and to exercise caution along affected areas.
