Captain of the Trinidad and Tobago Under- 15 Cricket Team, Brendon Boodoo, says he is pleased with the dedication and discipline displayed by the national cricketers during the recently held West Indies Rising Stars Championship in Antigua.
The team won the tournament playing unbeaten in five matches.
Speaking at the team’s return held at the VIP Lounge in Piarco, Captain Boodoo said the players put in the hard work and reaped positive results from their efforts.
Boodoo said the team won several awards and must be commended for their outstanding performance.
Meanwhile, Minister of Sport, Shamfa Cudjoe, said from her experience working with the executive of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board has been a good encounter.
