HAPPENING NOW: Global Superstar Concert to Support COVID-19 Health Workers

The social action platform Global Citizen has organized a live broadcast this Saturday in partnership with Lady Gaga to support the care staff and the work of the World Health Organization (WHO). This charity concert “One World: Together At Home” takes place for the benefit of the “Covid-19 Response Solidarity Fund” set up by WHO. Leading experts in global health will appear as well as artists and comedians from around the world, as they unify in the fight against Covid-19”.

Artist appearances and performances signed by big names in music like Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Billie EIlish, Alanis Morissette, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez, Paul McCartney, Chris Martin (Coldplay), Andrea Boccelli, Pharell Williams, Lizzo, The Rolling Stones, etc. Three French-speaking artists join the show, Céline Dion, Christine and the Queens and our Belgian Angele. Other stars will also appear.

Federal Minister of Finance and Development Cooperation Alexander De Croo should also appear to explain in a video message the support granted by Belgium to the Coalition for innovations in epidemic preparedness.

All these personalities will perform from their place of confinement. To make the connection: a trio of star presenters in the United States: Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert.

The show is divided into two parts. The main concert starts at 2 a.m.. The pre-show, with reports and images shot with the nursing staff, at 20 hours.
