A man well known to police was among three shot while liming in Gonzales, Belmont on Sunday night.
Just before 8pm, a group of people were liming at the Gonzales Sheikers panyard when a vehicle rolled up and the occupants, reportedly dressed in tactical clothing, opened fire.
The injured were rushed to hospital
However, the vehicle with Kevin King aka “Grimes”, who was believed to be the target, was followed and he was executed by gunmen on the premises of the Port-of-Spain General Hospital.
The shooting caused hospital personnel and others to scamper for safety.
The other victims have been identified as Johnathon Arjoon and Jaydon Reyes. They are said to have died at the scene in Gonzales.
Police are investigating.
